Hello! I'm the founder and Renovation Designer behind Second Story Co. I'm so glad you're here.

I help homeowners bring clarity, creativity, and thoughtful oversight to the renovation process.


My work lives at the intersection of design and construction- developing cohesive spaces while keeping an eye on the budget, materials, contractors, and details required to bring them to life. I believe a successful renovation should do more than look beautiful. It should function naturally for the way you live, feel connected to the rest of yoru home, and give you confidence that your investment is being made thoughtfully.

From start to finish, I’ll walk you through the tailored needs of your project. My collaborative approach supports strong relationships that enhance your project. I'm happy to work with your preferred contractors or introduce you to my team of trusted professionals who get the job done right. Either way, I'll be there to oversee every aspect of the project to ensure your vision is faithfully translated. We’ll begin with planning, budgeting and design then move seamlessly into execution and finish details using a step by step process that keeps the project moving. The end goal is to give you a beautiful space that performs beyond your expectations and lights you up every time you enter the room. 

A Career Built Around Homes


My path to Second Story wasn't a straight line, but homes, design and construction have been a consistent thread throughout my life. I've been involved in many aspects of the home renovation industry, giving me a broad understanding of what it takes to move a project from an initial idea ro a beautifully completed space.


That experience allows me to look at a renovation from multiple perspectives- how it shsould feel, how it needs to function, what it will require to build, and how each decision affects the larger project. Second Story is where those skilld come together, blending thoughtful design with the practical guidance and oversight needed to bring it to life.

Why Second Story?

The name Second Story represents the next chapter of a home- the opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine a space as your life, needs, and priorities evolve. It also represents my own second story: bringing a lifetime of design, construction and project experience together into the work I was always meant to do. For me, renovation isn't about chasing trends or creating a home that looks like someone else's. It's about understanding what already belongs, identifying what needs change, and designing the next chapter with intention.


A Little More About Me...

When I'm not working on a renovation, you'll usually find me gardening, exploring the water on a paddleboard or kayak, or enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my husband and two rescue dogs, Moose & Archie.
